About Tony
Tony Clout transcribes all of Tabman’s guitar tabs and bass tabs. They are world-famous for their accuracy and help you to sound like the originals. Tabman tabs have been around for over 25 years and they annotate exactly which notes to play as well as how to play them so that you can create your own accurate performance. Tabman tabs combine music and chords and are each a complete guitar lesson.
If you want to play Apache Foot Tapper, Kontiki etc. and sound like Hank Marvin this is where to find the most accurate transcribed tabs.
We produce the tabs for the popular Shadows Workout series by Ian McCutcheon and tabs for classic guitar instrumentals by The Shadows, Jet Harris, The Ventures, Duane Eddy, and The Hunters. New tabs are added frequently.
We also produce tabs for Dave Robinson’s “Lead” series, Ernie Lamprell’s “Strat Trax,” Roger Allcock’s “Backin’” series, Lenny Clerwall and Warren Bennett’s “The Vibratos” (The Ghost of Old Compton Street, Cappuccino Kid, etc.).
“Tabman Studio Sessions”, a collection of Tony Clout’s arrangements on a downloadable album of demo audio tracks absolutely FREE and available to everyone. Backing tracks and tabs for every title are available to buy from tabman, just go to “search”.
Also available is “The Shadows’ Top Chart Hits”. This definitive set of eleven titles is available for £40, they are: Apache, Atlantis, Dance On, Foot Tapper, Guitar Tango, Kon-Tiki, Man of Mystery, The Frightened City, The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt, The Stranger & Wonderful Land. (There will not be demo tracks for these as we assume you will be familiar with the tracks you want to play and will probably have the original recordings to refer to).
There is also “The Shadows’ Top Chart Hits for Bass Players”, with tabs, demo and backing tracks also for £40.
Our “Backing Tracks” section is for some titles by The Shadows, Duane Eddy, The Ventures, Jet Harris, Bert Weedon and other titles by various artists requested by customers. (There will not be demo tracks for these as we assume you will be familiar with the tracks you want to play and will probably have the original recordings to refer to).
